At The Clever Classroom™ we pride ourselves on the quality and personalised nature of our customer service. Having a team which includes qualified teachers from Early Childhood through to Secondary and Special Education gives customers confidence in our experience and expertise in the dynamic field of education. We also have highly skilled administration staff who oversee the whole organisation, as well as extremely competent trainee teachers comprising our support staff.

Candy Hoddinott (BEd Special Honours Class 1), a passionate educator, devised the initial integrated concept of The Clever Classroom™ and is its owner and Managing Director. With many years of primary, special education and executive roles in schools, as well as published units of work for the NSW Department of Education and Training, she has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with her customers.

Donna Phillips is extremely experienced in the retail industry, having held a diverse range of responsible positions in a number of businesses. She is now our very capable Administration Manager, in charge of staffing, training, rosters, purchasing, data entries and computer maintenance, as well as numerous other day-to-day tasks. She keeps the wheels successfully turning, both behind the scenes and out the front of our store, where customers and staff alike appreciate her calm, helpful manner.

Jennie Harrison (Dip. Teach ECE) is a valuable staff member with teaching qualifications in the area of Early Childhood. She has taught in pre-schools on the Central Coast for several years and now devotes her time exclusively to The Clever Classroom™, where she inspires everyone with her enthusiasm and love of learning. Our 'Storytime' sessions are always well-attended by children enjoying Jennie's singing, puppets, stories and rhymes.

Our Support Staff is comprised of both trainee and newly qualified teachers, who have a vested interest in keeping informed about the most up-to-date resources available on the market to complement the current school curricula. They are excited by the impact education can have on children's lives and pass on that positive outlook to all our customers.
